Why Magento with me
Magento is big and often worked on by several parties at once. With me all the knowledge sits in one head: I write the code, I put it live and I fix it when something goes wrong.
- I work daily on a real production shop (Magento 2.4.7), not on a demo.
- I wrote custom modules: security headers, a canonical fix for CMS pages, deferred loading of third-party scripts and a warehouse module in development.
- I measure on real visitors: that shop's mobile load time went from 14 to 16 seconds down to 2.14 seconds and all Core Web Vitals are green.
- I fended off an attack of 2.3 million search queries from 600,000 IP addresses.
If Magento is not the right choice for you, I will say so. For that I have an honest comparison with Shopify.
How I work
First I read how the existing code fits together. Then I change things on a test environment and only after that on production.
- Read first: I understand your shop before I touch anything.
- Test on a test environment: whatever goes wrong, goes wrong there and not with your customers.
- Only then production, in a targeted way and without emptying your cache all at once.
- You have one point of contact: the person who writes the code.
What it costs depends on your shop. I do not work with fixed packages for Magento, and after an introduction we agree on an approach.
