When do you choose a custom website?

Custom is for projects that do not fit a template. You need unique functionality (a booking flow that works differently from the standard, a tool for your customers, integrations with external systems), you want a design nobody else has, or your brand calls for an online experience that stands out in a saturated market. Concrete signals that custom is the right choice: you want a 3D experience, an interactive product configurator, a customer dashboard, a multi-step form that departs from the standard, or complex integrations with your existing software. With T&H Car Care it was the combination of premium branding, custom 3D hero, full CMS, booking system and multilingual support that made the project a custom build. Not for a brochure site, a simple service page, or "we want a nice website". The tit-template handles those better and faster.

How does a custom project run?

A custom project always starts with a discovery phase. First I want to understand what your business does, who your customers are, and what role the website needs to fulfil. No design pitches on day one: strategy and scope first, then moodboards, wireframes, and only then pixel-level design. From prototype onwards we work iteratively. Every two weeks you get a working staging version you can actually click through, scroll and test. No static mockups that look different once live. Performance, responsiveness and SEO foundation are baked into every iteration from day one. Timeline is typically six to twelve weeks depending on scope. You get a fixed price upfront based on scope, not hourly invoicing after the fact.

What makes my custom builds different?

No page builder, no plugin soup, no template with a custom design pasted on top. Every line of code is written for your site, with TypeScript and modern components as the foundation. That keeps the site fast, scalable and extensible for the years ahead. You have a direct line to the person who built it. No account manager, no offshore team, no ticket system. Ask something, and the person who knows your site responds. That speeds up the project and every follow-up project after it. The stack is proven in production: Next.js 16, React Three Fiber for 3D, GSAP for animations, Prisma for data, PostgreSQL for storage, Docker for deployment. Nothing exotic, everything stable, everything maintainable by anyone with Next.js experience should I ever be unavailable.
