What does an SEO audit include?

The audit looks at your entire site from a technical perspective and delivers a report with concrete findings and priorities. No vague "improve your SEO" advice, but specific issues with the exact line they occur in and the impact on discoverability. What I check: Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS), structured data (schema.org), meta tags per page, sitemap correctness, robots.txt, hreflang for multilingual sites, indexability in Google, image optimisation, Lighthouse score, and the overall technical health of your site. The report also includes a priority list: which fixes deliver the most value, which are quick wins, which require more work. From there we determine the next steps together.

How does an audit deliver value?

Technical SEO is the foundation for everything that follows. If your site is slow, has no structured data, or cannot be correctly indexed, content campaigns and link building have limited effect. Get the fundamentals right first, then focus on growth. Examples from previous audits: pages set to noindex without the owner knowing, a sitemap missing half the pages, structured data with errors preventing rich snippets from appearing, Lighthouse scores below 50 on mobile while 70% of traffic was mobile. Issues that measurably cost traffic, often going unnoticed for months.

What happens after the audit?

After the report we discuss which fixes you want to implement. Three options: I handle the priority fixes on an hourly basis, I run a fixed-scope project at an agreed price, or you take the report and handle it with your own team. No obligation after the audit. For those not continuing: the report is written for developers and contains all the context needed to tackle the fixes independently. No black-box advice, no "contact us for details". Ongoing SEO monitoring (link building, content strategy, ranking tracking) is not part of my offering. For that I refer you to partners who specialise in those areas.
